Construction Training Fund (CTF)
Multiforce Rope Access Perth (Canning Vale) is proud to share that we are now officially registered under the Construction Training Fund (CTF).

Through the CTF, eligible candidates and companies can access up to 70% off course fees, making training more affordable and accessible.
​
The construction industry remains the largest in Western Australia, employing tens of thousands of skilled professionals across more than 130 occupations in civil, commercial, and residential sectors.
​
The Construction Training Fund (CTF) is fully industry-funded, supported by the BCITF levy collected on all construction projects across WA.

Eligibility
Eligibility for the Construction Training Fund is contingent upon a company’s or individual’s capacity to demonstrate direct involvement in Western Australia’s construction industry, with particular reference to on-site construction, installation, and fabrication activities.
Eligible companies / individuals must be:

Individuals directly employed in the building and construction industry in Western Australia.

Construction companies carrying out projects within Western Australia.
-
Self-employed workers engaged in activities that are directly part of the construction process.

Where an applicant’s eligibility is in question, the Training Fund shall determine eligibility by requiring the provision of a detailed and recent work history and/or sufficient evidence of current or past employment.
Ineligible companies / individuals include:

Government departments, government agencies, and employees of government.

Mining, oil, gas, and mineral exploration companies.

Companies engaged in the manufacture, supply, or delivery of building products.
-
Companies engaged in the manufacture, supply, delivery, or installation of non-building products subsequent to the completion of the construction process.
-
Companies engaged in the installation, maintenance, repair, or inspection of elevators and escalators.
-
Companies engaged in maintenance or repair activities of a minor nature undertaken after the completion of the construction phase.
-
Companies and contractors engaged in carpet laying or floor covering activities.
Unemployed participants

Where an individual is unemployed at the time of undertaking a short course recognised by the Training Fund, the individual must:

Demonstrate that they were directly employed in the construction industry in Western Australia for a minimum period of six (6) months within the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the commencement of the course; or
-
Where no recent work experience exists, provide written evidence of an offer of relevant employment from an eligible company or contractor within the construction industry prior to commencement of the course.
Unemployed participants may also be required to submit additional documentation as determined necessary by the Training Fund to support the assessment and processing of a claim.

Claims must be received by the CTF within 12 months of successful completion of the course.

Provide proof of payment (paid tax invoice supplied to participant by Pinnacle at time of booking)

Employers

Within the Supplementary Skills Program, the Construction Skills, Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S), Industry Skills, and Software Skills categories provide a subsidy to eligible trainees at the rate of thirty-one dollars ($31) per hour. The subsidy is capped at a maximum of two hundred and forty-eight dollars ($248) per eight-hour training day, or seventy percent (70%) of the course fee as stated on the invoice issued to the trainee, whichever is the lesser amount. The maximum claimable amount per employee, per course, shall not exceed one thousand three hundred dollars ($1,300).
